Heather, the Director of the Studio, has been teaching dancers in the Tri-City area for over forty years. Heather is an Independent Member and Past President of ScotDance Canada, a Life Member of the British Association Teachers of Dance, Examiner for the United Kingdom Dance Teachers’ Alliance, a Member of the International Adjudicators Panel of the Scottish Official Board, and a Past President of the BC Highland Dancing Association. She was honoured to be presented with the Atholl Clasp, an award emblematic of outstanding services to Highland dancing worldwide and presented the award by the Chairman of the Scottish Official Board of Highland Dancing, Edinburgh. 

Heather has taught and adjudicated at most of the major centers of Highland dancing including Scotland, the United States, Ireland, and Australia. Her dancers have regularly performed with the World Champion Simon Fraser University Pipe Band. Her pupils have won Canadian, Scottish, USA, North American and Australian championships including the World Championships held in Dunoon, Scotland.

Fiona has been involved in highland dancing since the age of four.  She has won over seventy-five Championships including the 2007 World Junior Championship.  In 2013, Fiona graduated from Simon Fraser University with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology.  

She has danced on many of the world’s famous stages with the Simon Fraser University Pipe Band, including the Sydney Opera House in Australia, the Massey Hall in Toronto, the Royal Concert Hall in Glasgow, and the Lincoln Centre in New York.  Fiona is a registered teacher with ScotDance Canada, the BATD, and the SDTA. Fiona is a judge for the Scottish Official Board of Highland Dancing.
